Did anyone ever attend a House party like this one

As a teen, we had house parties all the time. Things were really much more fun back then!

These types of parties have been popular and common in black neighborhoods going back many decades, even among adults. Adults in the inner city and projects used to have "rent parties" where the host charges guests $5 a head to go toward their rent.

In the suburbs, back in the day (particularly the early 70s during the sexual revolution), married couples used to have "key parties" where they put their car keys in a hat, mix then up and the women would reach in and pick the first keys they touch, then go have sex with the man who owns the keys.

Hell yea. Didn't have to worry about no riff raff. Nothing but pure fun. Every now and then a joker or two had to get tossed out lol.

Not only did I go to house parties like the one in the movie, one of the women dancers attended quite a few dances at my college. She is a light skinned woman with a blond/light brown afro in a red top.

I remember her dancing so good and with so much passion. It brought back a lot of memories seeing her on screen again.

No two persons ever watch the same movie.
