terrible, overrated movie

The positive reviews here are ridiculous. This was obviously a made-for-TV soft-porn thriller with cheap script, cheap sets and cheap acting. Don Johnson is terribly wooden as usual and the film spends more than half of the time watching him stare in the sun at his used car lot and smoking a cigarette or banging Madsen. Plot? Never mind. After about 70 minutes I just stopped watching this overlong treacle because the scenes were beginning to repeat themselves. Only bright spot was Bill Sadler whose performance was more hilarious than probably intended.
