Why did Gloria Harper want to walk home?

The last scene in the house when Connelly want to go home and Johnson offers to drive her, she refuses and instead chooses to walk home.

WHY?

Was there anything said that made Connelly realise Johnson had been screwing Madsen?

I just don't get it.

She obviously felt betrayed because in the scene at the car lot before going to Dolly's...Harry asks Gloria to go away with him with a wedding ring. A few minutes later Harry is blackmailed by Dolly with the letter that has the info that he robbed the bank and killed Sutton. Harry had to go along or be exposed. Then Dolly mentions to Gloria about her stealing from the car dealership and she says that Harry turned her in....betrayed on multiple counts she wanted nothing to do with Harry and walked home.
