i watched this with my nephew and he laughed amd said this is funny i said people getting hurt is not funny

Hmmm...thousands of old silent comedies, Tom and Jerry cartoons and the like would say you are wrong.
Its the slipping on a banana skin principle. As long as the people it happens to are not shown to be too badly hurt...its effing hilarious.

The point is the people in the movie were not hurt, not really. If a lot of the things that happened to them in real life, they'd be a lot more injured than was portrayed in this movie.
It's slapstick humour. Fair enough if it's not to your personal taste, but it's quite obvious that it's meant to be played for laughs.
It's supposed to be made just for laughs. When compared to what kids are watching on tv now a days, Home Alone is pretty innocent.
Plus, it's only the bad guys who get hurt. Heck, in real life, some of those traps would've killedthem or left them in a very critical condition. So the writers did the viewers a favor. Lol
I can't believe people are actually responding to this post as if it's serious.
