spoilers?
I was watching Hidden Agenda on television and right before the end there was a power cut. How annoying is that? I'd still like to know what happened.
The last thing i saw was McDormand character driving back from Dublin in a hired car, listening to the tape. I'm guessing that she didn't get the tape published. Am I right? How did it end?
Wow...these posts are almost a whole year apart
She gets to the airport and talks with Kerrigan (the main character). Kerrigan fails to talk her out of not publishing the tape. We also find out that Harris (the guy who had the tape) was killed by supposedly the IRA though McDormand suspects it was the Police/Army.
She goes to a phone and starts calling and Kerrigan goes through to board his plane and then it finishes! We assume McDormand's going to try and get it published (though it might not)
So we've got a cliffhanger. But the point of the film was not what these characters do...it's what we the viewer would do.

excellent movie.
Francis McDormand is fantastic.
Brian Cox was great also.
