I wanted to know about the first quote. Is this really a portuguese or brazilian proverb or something? Or is it from Anaïs or what? would anybody be so gently to answer me this, please?

It's really a portuguese proverb - se a merda tivesse valor, os pobres não teriam cu.

[June late at night in bed with Anais]

It is a story that doesn't justify its realization as a movie. It wasn't fair for a lot of characters, they didn't meet appropriate people.. Unless they are not represented at their entity. It feels like a movie about world war 2 without showing the Americans..
