Kagetora was the one who shot and killed Lady Yae in the film. After she was killed Takeda Shingen's troops was shown transporting her dead body home as they left the battlefield.
Kagetora was in love with Nami, but had to kill Nami's father as a traitor. The real Kagetora, the daimyo Uesugi Kenshin, died unmarried without an heir.
