Opening Theme - Pink Floyd homage, snide comment, or both?

The first bars of the opening theme are an adaptation of the beginning of Pink Floyd's "Yet Another Movie" from A Momentary Lapse of Reason. This woke me out of a deep sleep at about 5 AM just now, and I had just had to post to see if anyone else had ever noticed this.

So, whadda ya think? Was the musical director just giving a nod to PF, or were they trying to poke fun at this movie on the sly? I watched the first 5 minutes or so just out of curiosity. I generally can't stand Seagal movies, and this one seemed as pointless and egomaniacal as the rest. IMO, yes, this is "Yet Another" Steven Seagal movie (even though I think it was his first).
