I liked the villain...
...But I thought everything else about the movie was pretty cheesy and mediocre.
At least I thought so, no offense meant to anyone who liked it.
But what did you all think?

Yeah, I definitely saw potential in this film and there were certainly some parts that I did like. But it was a bit too cheesy for my tastes. I guess this was just one of those films that I had to grow up with to really appreciate, but it was a missed opportunity on my part.
If it's any consolation though, I did like Pinocchio and the Emperor of the Night. Again though, it seemed to be another cheesy movie with an awesome villain, but I thought that film was handled much better and had a bunch of really good dark moments.
