What happens in it?

It's been over thirteen years since I've seen this movie (I was six at the time), and I recently just watched a clip on youtube which sprung up some memories from the cobwebby depths of my brain. So I was just wondering if what I remembered about this movie was true or not.

What happens in it?

Takes place years after the first film. The queen's brother, Lord Maliss, a powerful sorcerer, comes to pay his sister a visit, only to find out from the magic mirror that she was killed while attempting to kill Snow White. Maliss swears vengeance against Snow White.

Snow White and the prince are traveling to personally invite the 7 dwarves to their wedding. Along the way, Maliss, transformed into a dragon, arrives and attempts to kidnap Snow White, but the prince stops him while she gets away. Maliss takes the prince hostage while Snow White finishes making her journey to the 7 dwarves' cottage. There she finds out that the 7 dwarves have moved away and opened up a mine in the next kingdom, but their cousins have moved in.

After introductions, Snow White learns that the dwarves' cousins are actually dwarf elves, who have been given power over the environment by Mother Nature to help her take care of the planet. The youngest, Thunderella, who is supposed to have power over the weather, is having trouble controlling her powers, and is scheduled to have a review with Mother Nature.

The dwarf elves take Snow White to Mother Nature, who is displeased with Thunderella unable to use her powers correctly and the other dwarf elves for abusing their powers. She plans to strip them of their powers when Maliss appears to take Snow White. Mother Nature overpowers him and offers Snow White sanctuary. Maliss then holds the captured prince as bait to get Snow White to come to his domain, where Mother Nature is powerless. Mother Nature decides to give the dwarf elves a chance to keep their powers by protecting Snow White on her journey.

On their journey, the group is aided by a crippled shadow man who tries to save them from Maliss' traps. When his traps fail, Maliss once again goes to personally kidnap Snow White when she's separated from the dwarf elves, this time succeeding. The dwarf elves rush to Maliss' palace to save Snow White.

At the palace, Maliss brings Snow White to the roof and reveals his intention to kill her by covering her in a magic cape that turns anything covered by it to stone. She is saved by the shadow man, who Maliss then kills, before attempting to turn Snow White to stone once more. The dwarf elves suddenly arrive and attack Maliss, who covers all of them in the cape, turning them to stone.

Only Thunderella is left alive, having gone to untie Snow White while the others fought Maliss. She attempts to get control of her magic while Maliss casts a spell to immobilize Snow White so he can cover her with the cape. Thunderella manages to summon a lightning storm, striking Maliss with a bolt of lighting, thus freeing Snow White from her immobilization. While Maliss is wounded by Thunderella's lightning attack, Snow White grabs the cape from him and covers him with it, turning him to stone instead.

With Maliss defeated, the dwarf elves change back from stone. With Maliss' control over the realm lifted, Mother Nature arrives and brings the shadow man back to life. When she does, the shadow man turns into the prince, explaining how he was under a spell that Maliss had cast on him, but he swore to never stop trying to protect Snow White.

Mother Nature decides that the dwarf elves proved their worth and allows them to keep their powers. Snow White invites them all to the wedding, then state that they STILL have to go invite the original 7 dwarves to the wedding.
