shareSaw this. I think it could be a great production, although I'm quite fond of the 1990 adaptation. It has it's flaws though, and a full out mini-series would suit the book better. Still, this picture is pretty affective. I watched it recently and it still holds up, for me, anyhow.
I'm not too keen on Moss though. I think she's too mousy. Granted, the character of Offred is rather quiet, externally, and obeys on command, but she has such a strong inner core. I always felt Gemma Arterton or Hannah Ware would be better suited.
When will you ever learn, this feeling is all you can discern?
Moss wouldn't be my first choice either - I do love Gemma Arterton - I was thinking Saoirse Ronan or Rooney Mara
