Not using this movie for clues, and going primarily by the actual text, do you believe Ophelia may have been pregnant? I found this interesting website that hints at her pregnancy:

I'm not sure if I buy it or not, but it seems plausible. What do you think/know about this?

Thanks for sharing! I had kind of assumed that they were lovers, but I hadn't given any thought to Ophelia being pregnant.

No, I don't believe she was pregnant. She probably slept with Hamlet, yes, but wasn't pregnant. The madness occurs because the person she gave herself to killed her father. Wouldn't you go mad?
