Small plothole

You've got a huge set of what must be master keys, keys that maids use to get into hotels. Okay, fine. Why are you (Myra) making all the potential noise of trying out these keys on Lily's door? Why not figure out which key it is ON YOUR OWN DOOR before going over to Lily's? Ultimately, this did not lead to anything, as Lily actually was asleep, but if she hadn't been, all that jingling and jangling of keys would have alerted her to trouble, and she would have blown Myra away as soon as the door swung open.
