I think it was just a joke referencing in the original why she hated Christmas. This was just another holiday she hated.
shareDefinitely a joke about her santa story from the first movie. Instead of her telling the entire thing again he just cuts her off. If you watch the first movie closely as she's telling the santa story, he's not even paying attention. He's looking for a phone lol
