Kate's reaction to the revelation of Gizmo's reappearance...

Did anyone else not buy this?

"That furry thing?"

This is not necessarily the fault of Phoebe Cates. I blame it on the scripting.

Kate's reaction to Gizmo just didn't seem authentic. He's not "That furry thing." He saved your boyfriend's life as well as your home town's from annihilation.

This is slightly nitpicking.

I also always had trouble grasping the fact that she doesn't even recognize him and mistakes the wired mogwai for Gizmo. Granted, the film doesn't take itself as seriously as the first, but for die hards, this had to be stretching it a bit.

I went to the board because of this problem. it seems as if she complete forgot how he looked or acted o.O

Well, she didn't interact with Gizmo much in the first movie. Most of the time it was dark.

I'm on Kate's side, didn't mind her reaction to seeing Gizmo again and say she just didn't remember the particulars of what Gizmo looked like.
