French Song Lyrics

Can anyone point me to where I can find lyrics and possibly sheet music to the French song about the trees that Gerard sings while playing on the piano. I've searched everywhere online and am at a loss. Thanks in advance.

I could be totally wrong on this, so if anyone wants to correct me, flame away -- but I don't think there is any "French song" -- I think the George character was supposed to have just ad-libbed it all on the spot.
The lyrics are all about the trees that Bronte wants her friend's mom to donate to her Green Guerrillas group, and George quotes the exact words that Bronte had used earlier to describe life for her ghetto-kids: "chaos" and "despair." Odds that there's some French song out there that just happens to match all of that: slim/none. Plus he tells her later that he did it so that she could get the trees.
The idea that he could make this all up on the spot is also why she recognizes that he's not just a wannabe composer, but a full-on musical genius, as well as a hunk -- making it ok to fall in love with him.
Course I could be all wrong.
