I find it repulsive. Two cousins have a romantic relationship? I mean, why would the writers decide to make something that they thought would be captivating to be included in this movie? I'd rather Vincent with Bridget Fonda (I forgot her name whatsoever)

it's very normal in the Mediterranean, actually in arab traditions, if a pride in her wedding night is on the horse travelling to her grooms house, her cousin from her father's side can force her to get off the horse and ask her for marriage.
