Gets me every time

It is a great film. Stands the test of time.

A modern classic, still feels fresh. They simply don’t make star-led original screenplay movies any more, nor do they still produce movies alongside popular songs like this, despite it working so well.

The ending is one of the most heartbreaking, tearjerking, uplifting things I’ve ever seen… all from the director of Airplane!?!

Agree. It's not perfect, but every time I watch it, I have to tell myself, Wint, you in danger girl - in danger of crying and falling in love with Whoopi and Patrick.
