How was Molly able to keep the apartment??
Totally unrelated to the plot, but just a little detail I noticed after re-watching this on Netflix. After Sam dies it seems like Molly has no intention of moving out. This is a *huge* apartment in Manhattan. Sam is a big-wig banker, so it's no surprise he can afford it. But Molly is an artist who seems to still be up and coming. How on earth can she afford the rent to stay there?? Even if he purchased the place, I'm sure the mortgage would be huge. Not to mention they weren't married so it's not like assets automatically transfer to Molly. And given Sam's young age, I doubt he had a will drafted that included any bequeathments onto her. I suppose property ownership is a far less sexy detail to address in love and phantoms. Disbelief...I suspend thee.
