Why? (Major spoiler)

Ok, if they're never gonna kill the lizard, why did Larry London swing with his axe just before the agents entered the kitchen..
Ok, even if they knew they will come in why to pretend they will make sausages out of Komodo Dragon? If they didn't enter the very same second was he about to stand in axing position untill they come in? I mean.. What's with that.. I assume it's just to be more beliveable for the ordience.. But then, after you see the twist at the end it doesn't really make any sense.. Anyone?

Right before that moment they had prompted Clark to go outside and signal the agents so yeah, they were waiting for the agents to bust in, and had notified the real FBI. That was all part of the set up the Greenwald alludes to as he's busted.

They knew the agents were going to come in at any moment, so they were just playing it up for Clark so he wouldn't blow the upcoming scene. Once everything was taken care of they let him in on the whole thing.

BuddyPC is right. Clark was already "in" when he arrived at the Gourmet Club. (The whole thing was a parody on the "Stinger" finale.) Didn't you notice the hints before? And Clark's relaxed attitude once the agents had left again? Jeez, why cant people watch a movie BEFORE commenting on it?
