Wow...I.m not the only person who likes this movie

I am so glad to see people finally posting on this movie. It is one of my all-time favorites. I got the DVD when it was first released and I still can watch it over and over again and not get tired of it. Frank Henenlotter is a genius!! Frankenhooker kicks a**!!

reply

It was pretty funny. I don't know if I would buy it though.

reply

Where can I buy it? Everyone says it's pretty good. I saw Basket Case and that was ok I suppose, didn't see the sequels, and I love Brain Damage. I wish they'd come out with a Henenlotter box set. I have the perfect idea for it too.
It could be the basket from Basket Case containing all the dvds! I love stuff like that. Like the Necronomicon Evil Dead DVD or the Sleepaway Camp box set. Great stuff.

reply

I got the dvd version on ebay, I don't think you can buy it at any stores right now. Amazon used to sell it but they no longer carry it.

reply

It needs a decent special edition with a Frank Henenlotter commentary. He was great on the Basket Case & Brain Damage dvds.

This movie is so underrated, it's hilarious! I always wondered what happend to Patty Mullen. James Lorinz turns up here & there.

Everyone hanging out for Sick In the Head? R.A. the Rugged Man is co-writing it with Frank, he's pretty sick.

reply

Where did you hear/read about "Sick in the Head?" Any details about what FH is up to would be great.

reply

I read about it at fangoria.com - they're supposed to be funding it. It sounds really wild, FH describes it as the ultimate hallucination movie.

reply

I got it when my local video store went out of business. It was apparently a special edition VHS, because the box has this little voice box thing on it - when you press it it says "Wanna date?" Awesome.

reply

All the video boxes for the original release had that. Your battery didn't run out?

reply

It hasn't yet.

reply

But is it FUNNY...hats what i'd like to know :)

Year 2013 checking in. I JUST picked this up at a local Movie Trading Company (Sweet place to find new and used movies, games, and music)for 18$ totally worth the dollar considering how funny this movie is.

reply

Are you a priest or what, Ruben?

Hey are you THE Spookey Ruben. If you are, then maybe you should focus more on making an album that is nearly as good as Modes of Transportation Vol. 1 and focus less on trolling the IMDB boards.

If you aren't, then stop usurping the names of obscure alternative music artists from the 90's you damn biter!

reply

I saw this movie last night, I have never seen anything like it. I mean how many movies do you see like this. They should have showed more of Frankenhooker though, there wasn't alot of her in the movie. She was pretty funny, but not as funny as the ending. That was a very unexpected ending and hilarious.

If you enjoy this movie then you should cut off and/or out your sexual organs and don't you dare pollute this world with your seed!

Lighten up Francis, this movie's funny. The "super-crack causing hookers to explode" scene is worth it alone, but Patty Mullen is hysterical.

"Wanna' date?!" "Going out?!" "Looking for some action?!" "Need Some company?!" "GOT ANY MONEY?!" "GRRRRR!"

reply

This is my all-time favorite B-Movie. I was thrilled to find it on DVD. I love the looks on people's faces when I explain the 'plot' to them.

reply

i just ordered it off bestbuy.com i cant wait for it to come

reply

If you really like this then you probably have seen Brain Damage and Basket case also. So, you lika these check out Dead Alive by Peter Jackson od LOTR fame. This film is very amusing though the gore factor is WAY over the top. I must admit it is the only film thast actually made my stomach turn over.

reply

This is one of my favorite films of all time.

It's up there with Taxi Driver, Bad Lieutenant, in terms of character studies. The main actor in this film was a riot!

reply

I just rewatched this film and couldn't stop roaring with laughter. This flick's gleefully shameless sense of lowbrow humor is positively infectious.
