Just when you think you have watched every good air war movie ever made

The dialogue was the worst part. So many cliches and I thought the aviators were going to kiss several times! What made this movie so great for me was the cast. I'm like OMG, Rosanna at 31, Defoe, Thompson, etc., etc. The great cast makes this cheesy movie a good one and I would recommend it any other aviophiles out there. (My Dad was a B-17 pilot, so I loved the line "Fighter pilots make movies, while bomber pilots make history.")

The dialogue was fine. Maybe some of the acting was either overdone or underdone -- certainly Danny Glover didn't leave anything out. Maybe he thought he was going to get an Oscar nomination. Willem Dafoe got it just right, I think.

Yeah, I thought the dialogue and the acting was very strong in this film. A lot of memorable lines especially from Cole and Camperelli.
