Seinfeld

Never seen the movie, just remember seeing the poster in the Seinfeld Episode, "The Dog"

reply

Mee too! I came here just to check if it was a real movie.

Pojkar vill - killar kan.

reply

+1 :)

SERENITY NOW!

reply

That's funny. Same here.

:) Now looking for "Prognosis Negative"

reply

Me also, came to see what it was about. Lol. Now off to look up the other poster which had a face and the word 'Eve' on it. (Im in Australia, we probably never even got that movie back in 1991, so I dont know what it is. Lol

reply

It was probably "Eve Of Destruction".

reply

Yeah, it was hey.

reply

same here!

reply

The other posters featured in that episode were:

Eve of Destruction
Prancer

The First Power is the only one I've actually seen...but I wouldn't recommend it...

reply

me too...wow!!

reply

Sibling Rivalry was also hanging around.

All four films...

Sibling Rivalry
Eve of Destruction
The First Power
Prancer

Were all put out by Nelson Entertainment (either Interscope, Castle Rock, or a third company I've never heard of).

Seinfeld was produced by Castle Rock.

So...there you go.

I have The First Power, but I have not seen it yet. Has anyone seen the other three? Are they any good or bad?

Dalton and Craig! Accept NO substitutes!

reply

Sibling Rivalry was a cute comedy starring Kirstie Alley and Sam Eliott--not a classic but worth a watch. Eve of Destruction was a good sci fi film, haven't seen Prancer.

reply

'Prognosis: Negative' was the name of a screenplay developed by 'Seinfeld' co-creator Larry David but was never produced...

reply

Did you ever see LD's film "Sour Grapes" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120838/)? Hilarious.

reply

seinfeld ftw!

reply

Really? Or are you just yanking our crank? It sounded like a poor medical thriller. Do you have any idea what it is about, assuming this is legit.

Dalton and Craig! Accept NO substitutes!

reply

"Awe man! I'm missing the Death Blow!"

reply

I came here for the same reason!

What were all the Seinfeld movies that weren't real movies?

Prognosis Negative
Chunnel
Means to an End
Blame it on the Rain
Ponce de Leon
Sack Lunch

Did I miss any?

reply

you missed "Rochelle Rochelle" ("The tale of a young girl's strange erotic journey from Milan to Minsk")

reply

Firestorm

Although the title was later used for the 1998 Howie Long movie.

reply

I would much rather see the Harrison Ford action thriller than the Howie Long version.

That is what I liked about the Seinfeld universe, these funny yet odd little details. All the names are familiar.

I remember Rochelle, Rochelle very well. Naturally it appeals to the male audience. Now don't think we are dirty fellows, as Rochelle, Rochelle is a film! Besides it only has sidal nudity.

- Sack Lunch seemed to be a family comedy who were shrunk somehow.

- Ponce, now that is a film I really want to see. It seems like an action/drama epic. If Georgie Boy lost it at the end, then I'd probably be crying my eyes out as well.

- Firestorm was an action thriller with Harrison Ford. Ford apparently was involved in a breathtaking action sequence that had him jumping out of a helicopter and shooting back at it.

I don't remember what Means to an End was about or Blame it on the Rain. Does anyone else remember? Wasn't one of them a tear jerker that Susan wanted to see but George didn't?

Dalton and Craig! Accept NO substitutes!

reply

Just saw it on Seinfeld too.

reply

Yep, just found this on Seinfeld too. I liked the title, so I had to figure out if it was taken.

reply

That's what made me buy the Blu-Ray! I remeber seeing that poster! :D
