I have never actually seen this movie myself, but reading the summary I was reminded of a very good book I recently read. The book is called [u]Stealing Shadows[/u] by Kay Hooper, and the plot is VERY similar to what this movie's is.

Everybody mistakes it for the 1996 thriller, Fear, with Reese Witherspoon.

It's really confusing when they recycle titles like that so close to the original, but no one remembered this in 1996 and even fewer remember it now.

I enjoyed this film. Not a masterpiece but entertaining and watchable. The only thing I didn't like is when the killer suffocates Ally Sheedy's agent.

Funny, when I was reading the plot for this movie, I thought of Lois Duncan's The Third Eye. Is that just me?
