The Better The Original, The Worse The Sequel(s)---Usually

I went 47 years without watching anything after The Exorcist(didn't think it could get better). I should trust my instincts. Quick cuts,sound fluctuation & effects,color contrasts,jump scares,using elements of the first movie but no real meat. I'll pass.
