Questions about the New DVD Release

Can someone tell me if this is an upgrade from the previous release? I need to know if there is a reason to double dip.

The new DVD has a pretty interesting and informative commentary by writer/director Fred Olen Ray while the previous DVD didn't have a commentary.

"We're all part Shatner/And part James Dean/Part Warren Oates/And Steven McQueen"

It's a good quality print. Better still, it's even widescreen (!).

1,000 mini-bios and I feel like I'm just getting started

The old release was widescreen as well, but it wasn't anamorphic. Do you know if the new DVD is 16x9 enhanced?

I can answer my own question, since I finally got the new version. Yes, it is anamorphically enhanced.
