Filming Locations

The bank that was used in the film is located at West End Ave/Harding Road and White Bridge Road in West Nashville Tennessee. I had driven by this bank many times over the years and never realized it was the one until I drove around the back side. That was the side they used as the main entrance in the film. I dont think the interior of the bank was used. If it was they've completely renovated it since filming. The gas station next to it was a Texaco at the time of filming and is now a shell station. I know the old prison was used but I'm curious if anyone knows any other locations. I've been searching for Ernest's house for quite some time with no luck. Any help is appreciated!

The courthouse that Nash exits is actually the East Branch Library building at Gallatin Ave and 11th st. Chuck parks the van on 11th street. For some reason when Nash notices the patrol cars it cuts to Union Street at 2nd Ave in downtown Nashville. This spot is also used later after Ernest escapes. I'm still having trouble locating Ernest's house. The number on the house is 805. Thanks to anyone who can help!

Ernest's House: 805 N. 6th St Nashville, Tn. In a later shot we see Ernest and Rimshot running west on Forrest Ave @ N. 11th St. This is directly behind the East Branch Library.
