GENIOUS metaphors.......

Almost 30 years later, this CLASSIC can be applied even in todays geo-political climate, as well as ever lasting cliches...... For example, the neighborhood gossip w/busy body women and an unconditional loving mother (played by Diane Weist, who was the #1 shining star) that hopes for the betterment of humanity to never judge but sadly, her daughter realizes that true love is NOT the stereotypical ideals that she grew up on; but that cannot survive in such a cruel, cruel jealous/envious world filled w/such animosity! At the very end, as the grandmother is storytelling such a revelation.... She concludes that w/hindsight~ she can see "forever"!!!
