I just love this movie.

I haven't seen this movie for awhile and forgot how much I loved it. It's sweet, sad, and funny at times. Alan Arkin's dry sense of humor is the best. Tim Burton really knew how to make movies back then.

I recently watched this movie for the first time in over twenty years, which I found it to just be ok. It certainly wasn't my favorite Tim Burton movie, not when compared to Batman, Beetlejuice, and Pee-Wee's Big Adventure.

But after this recent rewatch, Wow. This movie is amazing. I honestly can't believe how much I loved it. From the opening music to the heart breaking finale, this may be the perfect Tim Burton movie.

I honestly can't wait to see it again.

Seize the moment, 'cause tomorrow you might be dead.

I've loved this movie for years. I try to make a point of watching it once a year because every time I do, I notice something different. It's definitely Tim Burton's best work by far. I wish all of his films were more like this one but then I suppose it wouldn't be as unique anymore.
