echoes of Chris Isaak's Baby Did a Bad Bad Thing in the soundtrack

The music that plays during Javier Bardem's first appearance (1:05:40) is remarkably similar to Chris Isaak's "Baby Did a Bad Bad Thing". Did you notice the similarity as well?

This film's from 1990. Isaak released his song in 1995. Is the latter paying a polite "homage" to the former? Or are they both referencing an older blues track?

The film's soundtrack (by Carlos Segarra) seems to include a track called "Walking Blues". If this is it, it doesn't sound like the Son House standard by the same title.

I've searched it online, but couldn't find anything about it. Any info will be appreciated.
