Why spend $44 for the movie we love?

Unless you really want the collectors editon of The Wizard of Oz, Walmart has an exclusive 2-disc specail editon with The Dreamer of Oz on it and I paid $13 it might be different where you guys live but I thought I would pass this on. And, also read the back of the movie to make sure you are getting the right one. I did not see it on Walmart's website. Its got a green cover with Dorothy and her friends on it. I hope everyone has a wonderful week.

I saw this at my local Wal-Mart too (Normal, IL) and then didnt see it anywhere online. I think next time I'm there I might pick this up just for DoZ. If you don't mind, what other special features does this edition have? And, how is the picture quality (regarding both the feature film and Dreamer)? I hope that particular one is not a limited release. Not to mention $13 is a damn reasonable price compared to the other versions that go for up to 40 dollars more.

It is in wonderful quality in my opinon. You should really get it. Because I mean come on $13 get ya a pizza and a cold drink and watch it like I did! Lets see what we got for extra's...

The Life and Times Orginal Author, L. Frank Baum.
Docutmentary of Director Victor Fleming
Dreamer of Oz
The 2007 Hollywood Walk of Fame Salute to the Munchkins
2 Pre-1939 Oz Shorts.
I say well worth the $13 bucks. Both are in good quality. I am gonna prob watch the Dreamer Of Oz again tonight lol. I did not see paying $40 almost $50 for a movie I already have and just this extra stuff (watch and book) and I really wanted Dreamer of Oz really bad well now I got it. Check it out. Have a wonderful week. Let me know if you get it or not. :)

Thanks for the reply! I also sent you a pivate message but you pretty much answered that in your post. And agreed about $40-50 being way too much for a movie I already have. Got the 2-disc 2005 release for my birthday a few years back and it had more than enough special features for me. Thanks again!

Thank you SO MUCH for this info....I just checked and they have this 2-disc set available online to order or in (possibly a limited number of) stores. I had no idea that they had released The Dreamer of Oz in any way, shape, or form on DVD! My mom taped it for me when it originally aired (I was 9, at the time) and since then, the VHS tape has disappeared. This info just made my night. Thank you again!!!
