Funny thing about Steve Guttenberg's character's name

Guttenberg's character shares the name Gus Kubizek with the man many historians believe was Adolph Hitler's pre-WWI homosexual lover. Before someone decides to jump down my throat, I think it is an un-intentional coincidence and not some sort of secret agenda. I was doing some reading when I ran across a story mentioning Agustus Kubizek and his memoirs about Adolph Hitler before the war. I kept thinking to myself, Gus Kubizek, I know that name from somehere. After about 15 minutes, I remembered this movie.

Here is a link to his Wikipedia page, so you don't think I am making this up. The details of the two mens relationship will never be know with certainty but either way, I am not going to see this movie the same way again.
