Lacks the charm of the original...

The first Die Hard had a warm, fun Christmas vibe to it whilst this one just feels dark, moody and depressing, which I found to be a huge turnoff. Oh and William Sadler was an extremely boring villain. He has about 10 minutes of screen time and within that time he doesn't really do anything except crash a plane!
