The is a Very Good Movie

Every now and then I stumble upon a poorly rated movie on this site that blows my mind. Dick Tracy is one of the most gorgeous films I've ever seen. The cinematography, costumes, makeup, and score are all done exceedingly well. The cast is loaded with unbelievably famous actors and includes a vintage Al Pacino performance starring as a cartoonish mob boss.

It's based on a comic series and is very over the top, pretty much the opposite of Sin City, but still intended to be very serious. This is all done very well and it's 3 Academy Awards back that up pretty well. This movie was way ahead of it's time and I have no idea why this is so underrated.
