Just a warning to all those who -like me- remembered this movie from its first run in the early '90s and wanted to watch it again... the DVD sold on Amazon.com is a complete ripoff. The movie is so edited as to lose important info, and full scenes pertinent to the plot, the print on the DVD does not run 106 minutes as the manufacturer wants us to believe... it runs 92 minutes, which means 14 whole minutes have been chopped from this version, which is painfully lame and totally useless and even uncomprehensible if you haven't seen the real thing before.Plus, the video quality is TERRIBLE, blurry ,bleeding colors and of course...fullscreen (since the DVD looks like it was directly mastered from an old VHS recorded from a TV screening).Do not fall for this,don't be a fool like I was , don't buy it!!!

After the film's summer 1991 theatrical run, the film was released on videocassette by Live Home Video and around the same time in Canada by Cineplex Odeon. The film was released on DVD in 2002 by Platinum Disc, but is actually a cut TV edit of the film. The DVD is now discontinued and as of February 26, 2010, no plans have been made to release a new DVD of the film.

I just watch it and there have 4 scenes that where pretty badly cut and edit. Its ruined the whole film for me. At first i thought that it was made for tv movie and then shown in theaters. I hope they released the theatrical version on dvd and to change my rating to 7 instead of 6/10.

that is horrible!!!!! I guess I will hold tightly onto my VHS copy!!!!! Because I really liked this film!! I saw it in the theaters when I was a teenager.
