Ending was GAY

Come on

This movie was great until all the spy crap came into play. Then it fell to pieces. The ending was so generic. You can tell they rushed it. The plane blew up. We see a bluescreen of the Hulk. Then we see him falling through the air. There must have been a ton of hairspray in his hair because it wasn't moving at all.

Yea I agree. I'm supposed to believe the Hulk can be killed from falling from a helicopter. Hell, that wouldn't even kill Daredevil. What a puss.

reply

Not sure how else they could kill him off, since they wanted Banner to say those last words and shooting him or stabbing him would be lame.

If you're comparing the T.V Hulk to any other Hulk (comics, cartoons, big screen movies), then it's a lame way for him to die. However, the T.V Hulk was always less invulnerable than other versions. Also, they were going to have him come back to life for at least one or two more movies but, of course, Bill Bixby became ill and sadly passed away. It was sad that Banner died before he was cured and given the chance to have a normal life again.

Even if Bixby and Lou talked about making more, whether that be "Son of Hulk" or "Revenge of Hulk" or both and/or maybe more, they were probably just throwing around ideas.

Even if Bixby didn't get sick there's no saying for sure that any more films would have ever happened.

They ended "Death of Hulk" pretty cut and dry to the point that they (both David and Hulk) died. I feel, strictly as a fan of the original TV show (not comparing to any other medium in which Hulk appears), that the writers and director/star (Bixby himself) did a pretty good job in bringing closure to us fans.

Especially if you consider how most TV shows that get canceled before the story has finished simply cliff hang forever and never get any follow ups at all, let alone three follow up movies.

I'm glad that it went out on a sad note (like the series) and didn't have Daredevil, Thor, etc.

I could not agree with the OP more. I thought the first two TV Hulk movies were absolutely incredible and the beginning of this as well…until it completely lost focus and diverted from what could have been an amazing conclusion. It was still very entertaining though.
