I was just watching this and I was sort of surprised by how many different bands or musicians contributed to the soundtrack. That's probably why it hasn't been re-issued: Royalty residuals for the music. The whole film is owned by MPI who are a somewhat less than high profile video company, I can see them balking on having to go through the process of having all those artists re-sign.

Find a nice condition VHS, this movie is one of those that makes a good excuse for still needing an operable VCR.

This film is now available on both Region 1 DVD and Blu-ray.
