Chelmsford Hospital
The script for this movie reminded me of a real life case of a hospital in Australia where patients were put into comas resulting in the death of many of them. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deep_sleep_therapy
shareYes, I think this is probably the same story because I was watching Linda Blair on a video clip interview where she is talking about this movie and she said it was a true case. She didn't mention if this happened in Australia so was filmed there, or if it happened in the U.S. but was filmed in Australia.
shareDEAD SLEEP was filmed in the state of Queensland and the Chelmsford Hospital case took place in New South Wales but owing to similarities in the story I still think it is based on this incident.
