Needs a sequel

You could have Cole at the back end of his career, having fell to the lesser series of racing after a few bad seasons and/or incidents. After some series of events, one of the better teams is left needing a replacement, and even though Cole's reputation and skills may have diminished, he's still seen as a better option than any of the really young guys. Cole gets his shot at redemption, but is victory lane a necessity for personal redemption? Sort of a "Rocky Balboa" on the track.
