Dick Trickle (Cole's namesake) hasn't changed his. I think it was either careless or cruel of Mr. and Mrs. Trickle to name their son Richard!

I used to work with a woman called Shelley Lapper. Which was unfortunate, because in work documents her name was abbreviated to S.Lapper. Plus she wasn't married, so would have no doubt been formerly called Miss Lapper at times in her life.
