I can't believe no one is discussing this amazing movie!
Although small, this movie has all of the ingredients to make it great - unknown, yet believable cast, excellent soundtrack, dead-centre comedy and a real-life, no nonsense setting.
It's one of my faves, so I could go on and on all day!

Only just registered, and I agree, the film is the best, but I havent seen it for ages and Im trying to find a way of geting a copy, found it on ebay but the bids are going up to £30 + :(

I have a copy of this on VHS recorded from film four I think. I know I'm going to have to transfer it onto DVD. A gem.

I bought a used ex-rental one from Amazon for about £25.00, then copied it to DVD (Quality's what you would expect from a rental VHS), then I resold it on Amazon. There's always someone selling one

I used to have the soundtrack but it got stolen from my mother's car and I've never managed to find another copy.
Hi there, just to let you all know that this fine movie is FINALLY available in DVD at amazon.com since YESTERDAY, unfortunatelly not many people know that, they didn´t even put the cover and even the title is wrongly mispelled but IT´S GOOD NEWS, because the DVD is here, not a cheap home made copy.
I watched this movie long ago and loved it, the soundtrack is also very good, especially the main theme. Go and BUY IT ;)

I love this film! No matter how old it is I just love it. We all know a place like Branskys and we all know people like the characters (or in the case of Con O'Neill would like to!!)
I managed to get an ex rental video in the 90s after I watched the film when it was televised. After many many years of looking I managed to track down the soundtrack and single through ebay, and I still play them all now.
I love the fact that even though many of the cast were just starting out they've pretty much all had amazing careers - especially Con, and having met him recently he's lost none of that Peter McGeegan charm!!

Hi ya glad there are more people who love this film as much as i do. Also like most of you saw it fell in love with con o neill and then lost my b*$£&y video when moving now looking for both the dvd and soundtrack.

shareSaw it years ago and could never forget it. Forgot the title and went to a lot of trouble to discover it. I'm now watching it in ten-minute segments on You Tube. Con is even better than I remembered him! I love this film.

Took me ages to find this film!
Saw it when i was a young teenager in the 90s and loved it. Been trying to remember the title for a while and just sat for a couple of hours searching - and yay! here i am. Can't wait to see it again - gonna head over to youTube for a preview thanks!
