Ask Koch Lorber (U.S) why their DVD quality is below Studio Canal's!

The Koch Lorber DVD of Daddy Nostalgie (or Daddy Nostalgia as the Americans call it) is good in that it includes the English sub-titles during French dialogue. But the overall picture quality, in my mind, is about 80% perfect and does not match the superb 100% perfect Studio Canal DVD from France. Why is this? Let's ask Koch Lorber:

The Studio Canal DVD doesn't have English sub-titles and as others have said here, that is tragic! Let's hope that Optimum in London, owned by Studio Canal, release the DVD soon and then all will be perfect on one disc!

It's a PAL to NTSC transfer - with all the associated interlacing artifacts
and which is impossible to de-interlace on normal consumer equipment.
