Please recast this movie!

I've never been particularly fond of CRY-BABY (I admit it, I prefer GREASE), but I thought there were parts of it that were okay and that could have been even better with the right cast.

Who would you have chosen for casting CRY-BABY in 1989? I wouldn't think it would be too hard, because there were many fine twentysomething actors in Hollywood at the time...or maybe I'm just biased, being one of the last Generation-Xers (yeah, we're still around)...

The movie is amazing. I also would not touch it at all. Except maybe there could be more of it!
