This is the same movie as Cast Away starring Tom Hanks. They were both in the movie Big.

The main point I was trying to make is the plot: crash into the wild, survive in the wild, and rescued.

tom hank's character wasn't rescued in cast away. he rescued himself. made a raft and floated to more habitable land.
