i loved this movie ever since i first saw it in 1990, wow 18 years later i'm still waiting for it to come to dvd, i really want to see it again, andre braugher did an outstanding job and jack robinson. legendary officer labled as a trouble-maker, phenominal player for the negro baseball league, and breaking the colour barrier as the first african-american ball player for a major league team. i so want to see this come to dvd so i can see it again.

What a masterful performance from Andre Braugher! Particularly in the court scenes, for example when he was defining the n word, how moving. He is a wonderful actor.

Shame there still isn't a dvd, but they are are showing it right now on the Centric network. I missed a good chunk but only an hour.
