The soundtrack is amazing

Angelo Badalamenti is a genius. The music suits the movie so well with that mysterious feel. It's also kind of cool that the music is arabian-styled, but the movie is in Venice - it mixes really well.
Amazing use of every instrument. Nay flute, Oud etc.

Definitely one of the best movie soundtracks ever.

Lawrence of Arabia's soundtrack is also very, very good
