Anybody seen this??

It's off the wall! Not the best movie in the world, but then again, I like cheesy movies.

I think this movie went straight to video....waitaminute, there were trailers.

Whatever...

I like this movie, but that's just me.

Cool. I like Bennett, I saw the trailer for the second one and laughed. If Matrix was here, he'd laugh too.

reply

Yep seen it 2 times. It was ok.
The second one sucked.

reply

Yup. The second one was silly. I missed Dana-Nichol Wheeler. I forget, was the leech guy (Dennis Christopher) in the second one?!

I love this movie - I actually own this movie (there goes any reputation for taste I may have acquired). B Sci Fi is a passion of mine.

I loved it too!

Yep dennis was in the second one as well.

a pretty cool movie. Although some of the acting reminded me of the community theatre group i used to go to.......

I really liked this movie when it came out, it is still entertaining nowadays despite it's ultra low budget.
I'm always kinda impressed with sci-fi B movies because you know that they are shot with next to no money and it's inspiring to think that anyone could make an entertaining movie as long as they have a good script and dedicated cast and crew.
The second film was just a knock off sequel which was a shame really, you could tell no one was making an effort at all.

I loved this movie as a kid. Enough that I tracked it down when I got older and now proudly own the VHS...have they come out with a dvd yet? I'll have to check quickly after I'm done here.

I was a sucker for the love story and really enjoyed the lead baddie. There were definitely some cheesy parts in here: eating the leeches, the weird lesbian bondage scene at the beginning, etc...but the comedic parts were good (LOVED the diner bit) and once Romeo started to get serious, he rescued his Juliet in grand style.

I think my favorite part though was the music. The end credit song was lovely and I have a version downloaded on my computer that I play every now and then. The vocalist that sang it has it available for free on her website if you can track her down.

I just recently watched it. It definitely isn't the best movie in the world but I enjoyed it mainly because of the very gorgeous Dana Wheeler-Nicholson. She's lovely and a wonderful actress
