........but the 2 films should be seen together and in order. But still, the second one is so charming, heartfelt and funny that it can be seen and held on its own! Augustine.........if only everyone had had a mother like you!!

Agreed. The two films go together, hand in hand, just like Jean de Florette and Manon of the Spring. Both are to be seen together, and in order. Both are absolutely lovely films.
