Discuss Mew/Cat/Frozen

SO when Apple, Mew, and Rugby are all down by the tree and the NEW toy knocks into the Chess pieces, and they all get scared becase they hear parents saying they are going to go check the noise, and Mew makes the cat sound...and the dad says "It's ok it's just the cat". But didn't he let the cat outside?

ALso they all also get scared when Mew is in the hall and gets almost seen...but he's a cat toy, isn't he always being carried around and not where people last saw him?

lets assume the family have a cat flap & thats how he got back in

im not sure the dad ever put the cat out, he was looking for the cat saying how it never wants to go outside.

and i was thinking the same thing about mew being a cat toy being left everywhere

I thought of that too. But, if you remember, Ditz gets seen by the parents, and they think nothing of it. They just think the kids left him where he didn't belong. Yet, he was still frozen. So, I think we have to assume that the rule is pretty cut and dry. If they are found by anybody anywhere not where they were left, they would be frozen forever. It wouldn't matter if that person knew where they were supposed to be or not.
