Is the CP2 enough cover depicting the horrors of intra-toy violence?

I remember what my friend told me his friend saw the Child's Play 2 poster at a video store in the 90's. His friend said that a local video store had this up in their window and he would see it every day on his way home from school. And that little bastard Chucky cut the head of the jack-in-the-box with the giant scissors scared the *beep* out of his 9 year old self so bad that his parents asked the owner to take it down.

The Child's Play 1 and 2 cover scared the sh!t of me as a kid.
